Fit Body Therapy (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website (https://fitbodytherapy.com) or receive services at our Los Altos, California studio.

Information you give us directly. Your name, email address, phone number, and anything else you choose to tell us when you use our contact form, book an appointment, call us, or complete an intake form.
Health and physical condition information. Our contact and intake forms ask what you are experiencing in your body. Any injury history, symptoms, imaging, medical notes, or physical findings you share are treated as sensitive information. We collect this only to assess and deliver appropriate bodywork, and we use it for no other purpose. We do not use it for advertising and we do not share it with advertising platforms.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the website, cookies and similar technologies may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time spent, the site or search that referred you, and identifiers assigned to your browser. Under California law, some of this may be considered personal information even though it does not include your name.

- Embedded content — pages containing YouTube videos or Google Maps may set cookies from those services.
These services may collect device and browser identifiers that can be used to recognize your browser across websites. We do not send them your name, email address, phone number, or any health information you have shared with us.
How to opt out. You can decline or delete cookies through your browser settings. You can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, adjust personalized advertising at Google My Ad Center, and adjust Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal where it is transmitted.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share your health or treatment information with advertisers under any circumstances.
We share limited information with service providers who help us operate, including our website host, email provider, scheduling and payment processors, and the analytics and advertising platforms named in Section 3 — in each case only to the extent needed to perform that function. 5. Data Retention and Security
We keep client and treatment records for as long as needed to provide continuity of care and to meet professional recordkeeping and tax obligations. Website analytics data is retained for a limited period set within Google Analytics and is then deleted automatically. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.
We use appropriate administrative and technical measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and you may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us directly.
California residents. California law gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request correction or deletion, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not to be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.

This website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them online. Minors may receive treatment with the consent and presence of a parent or legal guardian.
